Eddyfi Lyft® System
The Eddyfi Lyft® System is an advanced pulsed eddy current (PEC) inspection solution designed to address challenges such as corrosion under insulation (CUI) and other related issues in industrial settings. This system allows for the assessment of wall thickness in carbon steel structures without the need to remove insulation, coatings, or fireproofing materials, thereby streamlining the inspection process and reducing associated costs.
Eddyfi Lyft System includes the following:
-
Lyft® Portable PECA™ Unit
- Supports array and single acquisition capabilities
- Grid or dynamic scan modes for flexible inspection
- Advanced I/O connector for expanded functionality
-
Included Accessories
- Two (2) batteries
- AC power supply
- Perpetual embedded Lyft GO software for data acquisition & analysis
Features:
PECA™ Technology
Equipped with Pulsed Eddy Current Array (PECA™) and single-element PEC probes, allowing both wide-area and targeted inspections.
Grid & Dynamic Scan Modes
Provides flexible scanning options, enabling fast data acquisition across flat and curved surfaces.
Lyft GO & Lyft Pro Software
Includes Lyft GO for real-time data acquisition and analysis, and Lyft Pro for advanced post-processing, reporting, and data interpretation.
Deep Penetration & High Sensitivity
Measures wall thickness through up to 102 mm (4 in) of insulation and 13 mm (0.5 in) of aluminum, stainless steel, or galvanized steel sheathing.
Portable & Rugged
Battery-powered and field-ready, featuring hot-swappable batteries, an IP65-rated enclosure, and a high-resolution 10.4-inch touchscreen for on-site data review.
Comprehensive Data Storage & Connectivity
Equipped with a 100 GB SSD, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for seamless data transfer.
Applications:
Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) detection
Inspection of insulated and fireproofed structures
Pipeline and pressure vessel integrity assessment
Storage tank wall thickness measurement
Ship hull and offshore platform inspections
